Tesco Strawberry Laces are another Tesco sweet that I can't really understand the popularity of. They are obviously very cheap at only 37p for a 75g packet, or they can be bought as part of a long-standing three for £1 offer from across the range.

The texture of these laces is decent enough. They're stringy, chewy and great for fidgeting around with. I can see school kids in particularly really loving all the fidgeting that can be done with these!

The flavour isn't so hot though. It's definetely strawberry flavour, but it takes a few minutes for it to register that it is. The flavouring is really very mild, and the laces don't really smell of anything much unless you have a sniff right up close. So there's nothing to really make your mouth water.

The texture when I'm eating them is the only thing I really like about these. I like that they're a good, chewy sweet as this works up the juices in my mouth which in turn enhances the strawberry flavour. This only works if I eat a couple of laces at a time though, it doesn't work if I just try to eat a single lace as I find it too hard to chew well on one single, skinny lace.

I don't these are the worst take on strawberry laces that I've ever had, but I do think they're pretty bland over all. The texture and the price is good, but they need about twice the flavouring that the currently contain to be anything worth buying.
