I often fancy a sweet snack in the evenings to treat myself for being very good and eating all my vegetables up :-) and I am not a chocolate fan so I often pick up some sweets in the supermarket when I am shopping. I never want a large bag of all the same thing (they get too boring) so I often purchase three of the small bags that tesco have in their very good offer of three for one pound.

One of the bags tesco have in their offer is this bag of strawberry laces, and being one of my favorite it is always one I pick up. The laces come in a tall thin blue / purple bag. They have a cartoony design on the front to attract children, but, adults, dont let this put you off! They have a clear plastic window on the front of the bag so you can see what you are buying before you make the purchase!

The bag contains lots of thin red long 'laces' they are chewy strawberry flavour very sweet sweets. They are quite siuckly, if you are not into the sugary taste, but they are not sugar coated like some of the thicker laces, do not confuse with them.

The strawberry taste is quite authentic without being too sickly and manufactured, which you can get with some sweets. Although these are chewy they are not so chewy that you have to crunch them hundreds of times before you can finish them!

I really enjoy these sweets. I get bored of them after a bag so this is plenty for me. Good size, good taste, good price!
