The doughnuts come in packets of four, each doughnut has a pink iced topping covered in pink and white sprinkles. Since the doughnuts are called strawberry rings I presume the icing is supposed to be strawberry flavoured, but to be honest the strawberry flavour just doesn't come through at all. That's not to say that the taste is unpleasant, it's a nice light flavour and considering it's icing it's hardly sweet at all. The sprinkles are still nice and crunchy despite the fact that they've been sat in moist icing.
The best thing about these is the doughnut itself though. The doughnuts are really light and fluffy, unlike some doughnuts which can be very heavy and stodgy. I'm not sure if this is because they are unfilled doughnuts, as we generally buy ones from a local doughnut shop which are filled with various fillings. It might be that the mixture has to be different in order to hold the filling, either way it makes a really nice change to have such a nice light doughnut (that makes it sound like we're constantly eating doughnuts, but we're not, honest).
They're actually well priced at £1.15 for 4, the filled ones we buy are over £1 each.
