I brought a jar of Tesco Sweet Pickled Onions last week to go with a salad and I didn't think they were very nice even though I've eaten cheap onions before and not minded them. These ones have got a proper weird taste though and they are sweet and tangy at the same time, even though that usually tastes nice I thought the combination was strange with these onions. Pickled onions are my favourite lunchtime accompaniament. They go very well with cheddar cheese and crusty bread. My parents always have them in the house and I have inherited that habit. I buy the tesco sweet pickled onions as they were only £1 for a huge jar of them. Ive had the jar for about a month now and Im only half way down. I thought this was great value for money, as a lot of the branded products are twice the price for a smaller jar, although they have nicer packaging.
