Only one leader in the beans market (Tesco Value Baked Beans)
Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Tasteless and high sugar content Beans certainly don't mean Tesco's own! As one reviewer (Ann) has pointed out, the sugar content is very high in Tesco's & Branston's too. My personal preference (and has been ever since I was a child) is Heinz Baked Beans. The taste difference is there for everyone to experience and my children love them too. Heinz have been doing beans properly for generations and still are consistently the best for my money. A tasty and healthier snack in the beans market and people have been choosing Heinz for years, so they must be doing something right. The sauce is thick and toamtoey and the beans are firm and tasty. Still the original and the best in my opinion Summary: Tesco's brand is a poor imatation of the real deal |
