Most items in the tesco value range are actually quite good despite being cheaper in pice than leading brands but this was not the case with there beans.

I brought a couple of tins of these from tesco obviously and upon opening the can noticed that there is a lot of sauce and it looks very watery.

I emptied the tin of baked beans into a tub to heat them up and was very disapointed with what i saw, less than half the tin had actually contained beans and the reat was just the sauce.

The sauce although there was a lot of it was very light in colour, very watery and very sweet, not nice at all.

The beans seemed darker in colour than hinze beans and were harder in texture too.

I was very disapointed with these and all 4 tins were the same.

They are only cheap at just under 20p but when you think about the fact you only get 1/2 a tin of beans that means you would have to buy 2 tins to get a full tin of beans so realy you are paying 40p to get a whole tin of beans and morrisons sell hinze beans in packs of 4 tins for £1.19p which works out cheaper in the long run.

Summary: i wont be buying these again
