Advantages: very cheap

Disadvantages: hard beans

how bad do you think baked beans can taste?? i have tried many baked beans over the years in mnay different countries and no i have not liked them all however neither have i disliked any as much as these...they are so sweet it is unbelievable and also the texture is not as good as what you will find in heinz or branston. dont get me wrong, i was not expecting 5* food when i purchased these it was just i had tried someother tesco value food and quite liked it so thought that i would give these a go and also some of the other own brand beans are very tasty.

the sauce was not tomato, or at least it did not taste like it, it was a very sweet sauce with very little flavour going on. the beans in the tin are hard and are also tasteless.

i would reccomend to anyone to buy a more expensive option if you are shopping in tesco or you will be left with a sweet taste in your mouth..there are beans on the market within the same price range that taste a lot better i.e morrisons.

Summary: hard beans, tasteless, and sweet

I have to say i think ASDA's value rang food is generally far nicer than Tescos.
