Advantages: None for me!

Disadvantages: Too sweet, poor tasting and poor quality as well as being less than a full tin!

Tesco value products can sometimes be ok and sometimes even be very good but I have to tell you that is not the case with their value beans.

Unlike Heinz beans, the sauce these beans are in is very watery and almost colourless, there is no thick rich dark orange sauce to be found here, the beans themselves also seem a bit pale and colourless and can sometimes be a bit hard too.

The beans have a very sweet taste to them that comes from the sauce, personally I do not think beans should taste too sweet and this really put me off this product along with its many other failings.

These beans are certainly cheap and can sometimes be found as low in price as 19p per tin which will of course seem like great value but you get what you pay for and these beans are poor quality as well as poor tasting.

Another thing I noticed with these is that the tin is never quite full, with Heinz you see beans as soon as you remove the lid but with these you get sauce for the first half an inch or so before you discover any beans so perhaps not quite the value they pretend to be!

Summary: Just a poor quality product from Tesco!
