all my family love baked beans and we have tried them all. Tesco brand is particulary great if you do not like the sauce too strong. These are great for children of a younger age, my two year old dislikes anything too strong in flavour but loves these. Packaging very basic but who really cares about the tin's appearance anyway? ... Read the complete review

I am not a huge fan of Baked Beans I have to be in the right mood for them, but my husband really likes them and I found that I was paying around 28p for a small tin of Heinz Baked Beans for him, then I noticed the Tesco Value Baked Beans at 15p for a 420g can even if I had to throw half of them out it was still cheaper than buying the small can, ... Whenever I shop in Tescos, I always put a dozen cans of these in my trolley. I remember a time not so long ago when they went right down to 3p a can - everywhere in my house there was a stash of baked beans. Then they went up to 9p and remained 9p for ages. Now they are up to 12p or something like that, but still, they're a bargain. You geta ... Read the complete review

I tried Tesco value Baked Beans a few years ago and found they were really no different to the big brand names which you pay a lot more for. They have a rich and thick tomato sauce and are very good value. They can be used for quick a snack such as beans on toast or served with a main meal. They can be served hot or cold and ... Baked Beans….they are an every day essential item; everyone has them in their kitchen cupboard and they do come in rather useful for quick fix meals and snacks. Baked beans are used in any number of recipes such as Curry and Corned Beef Hash and you can even buy tins of beans for baby food made by Heinz. You can get different flavour of ... I have always in the past eaten Heinz Baked Beans or HP Baked Beans because my mum always gave them to us when we were kids. But when tesco decided to to Value Baked beans for 9p I thought that as they were so cheap I would give them a try. With two hungry children to feed saving pennies was important. WHAT A MISTAKE!!!! The sauce is ... Read the complete review

Tesco value beans have one main disadvantage...they aren't Heinz. The difference in price between Heinz (36p) and Tesco Value Baked Beans (9p) is such a lot (in proportion), that I really did try to 'get used to them'. The tin is blue and white striped, but, I am pleased to relate that the beans are not so. They are pale ... Read the complete review

Basic beans, Tesco value only 9p. Yes they are cheap. These tins are readily available at Tesco’s. Stacked in the aisles with other branded baked beans. They tempted me first a few years ago. The tin is plain, the white label with blue markings and TesoValue in red, no picture to identify the contents so may these ... Read the complete review
