I have always loved tinned beans & sausages. The sausages in the always have a flavour of their own which you can't seem to find anywhere else. I still buy them to this day & I currently buy Tesco's Value Beans & Sausage. The Price fluctuates on these regularly but they are usualy priced somewhere between 35p & 55p, ...  Read the complete review

When I was younger I would practically live off of Heinz pasta shapes. I adored them and would eat them on their own, or occasionally with waffles or toast. However, despite their likeness, I never ever wanted to try beans. There was something about them that I hated, and it wasn't until I was much older that I actually sampled ...  Read the complete review

I do hate supermarkets but they are an necessary evil at times. Sometimes I need to stock up on ready meals to have in case I do not have the time to actually cook my own food. Out of all the tinned foods I have tried in my life baked beans are always the best. Tesco having it's own brand can sell this things at very cheap prices. Last time I ...  Read the complete review

I recently purchased these when looking for some bargain lunch items from my local Tesco store. The can is aluminium and has a paper label with the familiar Tesco value logo as well as the heating instruction & nutritional information. There is no ring pull on the can but it's very easy to open with a can opener and this helps to ...  Read the complete review

I am not adverse to trying value brands though these did leave me feeling slightly dubious. I have always been suspicious of the small sausages in tins of beans, they are often slimey and small and have a most odd yet familiar look about them. I braved some of these a few weeks ago while on my own personal credit crunch. The beans are fine, ...  Read the complete review

All we're hearing at the moment is 'credit crunch' this and 'credit crunch' that, so a lot of people will find themselves cutting down on most things they buy, or going for a cheaper option. Tesco have a very good range of 'value' products, of which I probably sampled most when I was a student a few years back. One of the products I ...  Read the complete review

Aah the summers are here, nice weather, sleep-ins and more often than not in our house no food other than ice creams. This has the overall of effect of reducing man to the basics i.e. toasties and beans on toast, the last of which leads to my review today on Tesco Value Baked Beans and Sausages. Appearance Well first off the tin ...  Read the complete review
