Advantages: Cheap

Disadvantages: No flavour, high salt content

In my local tesco express the other day this was literally the only type of bread that they had on the shelves so I had little option to purchase it. In the end I wished I had not bothered as the only people who benefited were the local wildlife as it all ended up being thrown out for the birds across the front garden area.

There was just a complete lack of taste to this white bread and the salt content was really high according to the ingredients label. It was very thinly sliced and while I say it had a total lack of taste I probably over stated my case as in fact it had a very dry texture and a bland floury flavour that was not very pleasant.

I used it to make a sandwich which was not very enjoyable however it was slightly better when toasted as that at least altered the texture a bit and made it a little more palatable.

ther than the low price there really is not a great deal of positive things to say about this bread at all, certainly you get what you pay for.

Summary: Not something I will buy again.
