Advantages: The price.

Disadvantages: Very dry, stale, crusts fall off.

This bread comes in a choice of thick or medium sliced and white or brown. The packaging is very basic with a red, white and transparent design - this is good as it means you can see the product before buying.

The bread does not make very good sandwiches, it is dry and crumbly even when within its sell-by date. It is satisfactory for making toast, however the crusts have fallen off into the toaster on a few occasions. The brown variety is slightly moister and longer lasting.

It is good value, I have always been grateful for it being available when I have been low on cash. I would recommend freezing it to keep it fresh as it goes stale faster than other brands. I will not buy this bread out of choice unless I am desperate.

I am normally happy with Tesco value products, however this one is a disappointment.

Summary: Only buy it when desperate!
