The tesco value cheese and tomato pizza is basically what it says on the tin, I do usually get a make in pizzas or buy fresh ones however I have tried these from time to time, mainly because of the price and also because they didn't look too bad, and I wasn't wrong either. They are a very basic pizza, probably to be expected by the ... Read the complete review

The Tesco Value Cheese and Tomato pizza is available in several sizes, and alos available in different quantities. However, whichever size or packaging style you buy, the actual product is the same (and as I used to make them for a living, I should know ;) ). We normally buy them in a pack of 4. These 4 come individually wrapped in shrink-wrap ... Read the complete review

I'm sitting here looking at a value pizza, trying desperately not to go cook it... :) There are value pizza options in the tesco value range, all cheese and tomato. There's a frozen pizza (268g and 71p), a large fresh pizza (480g and 99p) and an individual size (165g and 46p). I find the mini pizzas are just enough for one person, the ... I was digging in the freezer last night looking for something quick and easy to make for tea. After a long day, I wanted something quick and easy and this fitted the bill. Rather than coming in a box as the photo suggests, they come wrapped in plastic on a polystyrene base. The pizza itself is quite large and weighs nearly 500 grams. If ... Read the complete review

I have just started cooking for my family cos I thought it was about time I learned how to make a meal. My little sister asked me to make a pizza the other day so i went to buy some bases that had already been made cos I dont know how to make dough. In tesco I remembered reading on here that you can use there Value pizza as a base cos ... Read the complete review

I would say that we have pizza for dinner in our house at least once a week. If forms the basis of a cheap, filling meal that is flexible - and one that my children have always been happy to wolf down, without any argument.. For example, you can serve a pizza whole as it is, with nothing to accompany it - just run the pizza cutter ... Read the complete review

Pizza is one of my favourite foods but I'm too greedy for the sparse toppings on ready made ones so I tend to make my own. I used to buy pizza bases from the chiller aisle but have since discovered that buying a Tescos frozen value cheese and tomato pizza actually works out to be cheaper than buying just the plain base. and you already have the ... 71p buys you a 268g boxed pizza. In comparison, you an pay 99p and get an unboxed 480g also Tesco Value cheese and tomato pizza. As I tend to shop online, the drawback is Tesco tends to substitute items for you, which is how I ended up with the smaller boxed pizza (in the photo). One pizza measures 8 inches, half of the ... One of my favourite fast foods would definitely be pizza, because of the concept behind it being so simple. Although, the pizzas by Dominos or Pizza Hut are probably among the best, it is neither ideal nor convenient to order a pizza for just a normal meal. I have been having frozen pizzas for quite a while now, and must admit ... Read the complete review

Recently I was on holiday for a week with a few friends. None of us had much money and we were all staying in a caravan, but thankfully there was a huge Tesco Extra nearby. So, we all ate Tesco Value food for a week! After a couple of days I got bored of Tesco's version of Pot Noodles. So, I went and found Tesco Value Cheese & ... Read the complete review

I wouldn't normally think to buy a cheap pizza, as pizzas are a pretty cheap meal as it is. This caught my eye when I saw it in the freezer cabinet in Tesco though because of the amazingly low price tag. It should have been 71p at full price, which is pretty unbelievable, but this particularly one was reduced to 35p because the box was damaged. ... Read the complete review

I suppose I shouldn't really be writing this review as INHO my husband makes the best pizzas in the world apart from Dr Oetker of course! However, not having shopped for a while & hubby at work, I found a Tesco cheese & tomato pizza tucked away in the freezer so decided to share it with my youngest daughter who's very fussy with ... I needed a cheap meal and I needed it fast, I was making a meal for my relatives who were coming over and was minding my two younger sisters, at the last minute I realized that the kids couldn't eat the spicy Indian meal I was making as all they eat is Pizza and chips of course! So off I rushed to Tesco and cringing at the Pizza prices, I ... Read the complete review

After reading a review about this product by the writer I Am Joy, I picked up one of these on my weekly visit to tesco. I had tried Asda's basic Pizza before, but not Tesco. I'm looking on ways to save money just now, and am fond of trying the Basic brand items, as i've found some good products from them. This range is part of Tesco's Value range, ... I really enjoy a pizza though I admit I do have the tendency to get slightly carried away, a pizza that should feed two people just seems to slip down without any bother. The Other Half steadfastly refuse to look at a pizza, in his eyes pizza is foreign food! I have recently noticed that the choice of pizza in the supermarkets is getting ... Read the complete review

I usually buy the Sainsbury's own pizza or Ristorante which is usually very reasonably priced, but when my son in law said he was popping in for lunch with his workmate I went out and bought the cheapest pizza I could find - which ended up being this Tesco Value one for 75p. There is a reason for this, my son in law is usually a big ... Read the complete review
