Due to having a lot less money coming in and a small child to provide for, I have recently started buying even more Tesco Value products. I bought quite a lot of own brand items when I was working full-time, as I think that a lot of them taste very similar, and I usually cannot tell the difference. I found the Value bars of chocolate a few months ago, when I was looking in the confectionary aisle. They were priced at around 23-25 pence for a 100g bar of either milk or plain chocolate. Tesco value Chocolate In General Anyone who reads my reviews will know I am a chocolate fan and have tried almost every brand/variety on the market. Tesco Value is no different. I first purchased bars of Tesco Value chocolate bars to use for making a desert. I was making chocolate pots that contain really healthy stuff like brandy and double cream and was searching for some chocolate. I spotted bars of Value milk chocolate priced only 22p per 75g bar. I am not really the sort of person that goes around buying all the 'Value' products, but this week i was a little 'strapped' for cash. So when i went to tescos i noticed the price difference in the normal products and the value brand, and i couldnt believe it. I had my list as usual, but this time instead of choosing Homepride pasta sauce, i picked up the tesco value range. I also did this with the: Biscuits, rice, pasta, sweetcorn, banannas, cornflakes, squash, bread, malt loaf, coffee, i also trested myself to a 'Value' chocolate assortment.
