Occasionally, the discovery of a new Tesco Value product reveals a bargain. The range is often hit or miss. This time, it was a complete hit. I have had a number of different types of chocolate mousse before, of varying prices and brands, and this is just as nice. It is packaged with the now familiar Tesco Value white and blue label, with just over 60g of choc mousse in each of the 4 pots. The pots themselves are quite flimsy, but the perforation maintains itself between them until you snap one off to eat. The lid peels off just as it would do on any yoghurt/mousse pot. The contents are solid and airy like a mousse. I would have expected a bit of ... Read the complete review

Whilst in Tesco the other day and browsing down the desert aisle I spotted these value chocolate mousses, at only 25p for 4 so I thought I'd take a chance to see how they compared with the higher priced brand varieties, after all for just over 6 pence per pot I didn't think I had that much to lose. Packaged in the basic "value" packaging each pot contains 62.5g and although they aren't the largest deserts in the world at the price they are you could afford to have more than one if the first didn't satisfy. Peeling back the plastic top the mousse itself has a nice dark brown colour to it and to me looks exactly the same as other mousses you ... Read the complete review

***TESCO VALUE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE*** In these difficult financial times, I though it was my responsibility - no my DUTY to bring this product to your attention. As a lover of all things chocolate, this one certainly is worth trying. I requested this to be added a while ago and so I have had to go and buy some more to make sure I get this review right. The things we have to do... ***What it is like and overall opinion*** Well this is a value four pack of chocolate mousses, that come in brown pots with the usual tesco blue and white value packaging. Each pot contains 100 calories with 3.3g of fat (2.8g of which are saturated). ... Read the complete review

As part of my mission to cut my shopping bill, I've been trying to mostly buy Value or own brand products when shopping. I absolutely LOVE chocolate mousse and normally pay over £1 for 4 pots of mousse, so these were very cheap in comparison. PACKAGING Like all Tesco Value product, the packaging is very plain packaging. The lids are white and blue with the value logo in the top corner. The pots are plain brown plastic. TASTE I really was impressed with the taste. Very chocolately with a nice aroma. It was light and airy with plenty of bubbles. The chocolate flavour was strong but not overpowering. while it wasn't as nice as ... Read the complete review

Tesco Value have done it again, impressing product, good taste and low low prices. I bought these this week in my weekly shop, I am currently trying lots of the value products against own branded and branded names to see where we can all save money! I saw these, bottom shelf in the corner for only 25p! absolute bargin, I usually pay about £1 or over for cadburys or aero mouse so and tesco own brand is 97p for 6 mouses. They are packaged in dark brown containers with the tesco value white labelled lids. We had them for dessert one night, as you open the pot it smells lovely, quite a rich darker chocolatee flavour rather than a sweet flavour. The ... Read the complete review
