Watery, tasteless value product. Personally I wouldn't use for human consumption (Tesco Value Clear Honey)

Firstly I guess I should tell you that I am a beekeeper so I may have a slight bias in this review. You might ask why a beekeeper is buying honey? Good question, the answer is to use in wasp traps to rid my apiary of pesky wasps who were bothering my bees.

Anyway back to the product. As I was making my wasp traps I was immediately struck by just how runny the honey was, as a beekeepr I have seen honey in all sorts of states but rarely as runny as this was. It makes me question how this honey has been prepared.

Inevitably when you work with honey you get the urge to try some so that's exactly what I did. It was bland, had very little depth of flavour and consistency wise was more akin to ribena than honey! It made me realise why it was on sale at 36 pence for the jar. For me the wasps are welcome to it.

It is worth remembering that honey produced locally is best for you, particularly if you are a hayfever sufferer.

Summary: Honey should be a rich reqarding experience to eat. This isn't.
