A cheap, tasty dessert from tesco. Its their own brand so is fairly reasonable priced. For less than one pound you'll get four pots, each containing the creamy gelatinous dessert. The caramel sauce it is served with is very thin, but tastes very sweet and rich. These are best when they're straight out of the fridge and are icy cold in my opinion. The dessert itself resembles home made jelly in it's texture, and as a result is very easy to eat making it a perfect follow up to a meal for both children and elderly who may struggle with harder foods. The Tesco Cream Caramel is one of the very few Value products that disappointed me; there's not much taste and if any you can taste artificial flavourings. It's a shame; I really like cream caramel but never find the time to bake one myself. They actually do look like good cream caramel is supposed to look like with a small layer of dark brown caramel sauce on the bottom and the light cream on top. What I instantly saw was that the cream is very wobbly; normally it should be quite hard.
