When my mum buys biscuits she always gets a couple of packets of nice ones like Cadburys or digestives and then buys some of the dead cheap supermarket biscuits to fill the biscuit tin up with. It's obvious that the nice ones get eaten first and then we're left with loads of Value or Smart Price biscuits. These Tesco Value Custard ... Read the complete review

When it comes to food, there are not many items I can say are typically British and I also miss when I am away from UK. Custard creams biscuits are one of those. Basically, they are 2 biscuits, the size of a finger, with custard cream in between. They go well with tea or coffee and also on their own, like small cakes. ... Read the complete review

A 400 gramm pack of Tesco Value Custard Cremes will set you back about 50p these days. The Custard Creme is a British favorite biscuit comprising of two crunchy biscuits filled with a creme fondant filling. The biscuits are patterned, with an almost floral pattern, but this does not affect the flavour of the biscuit so i won't discuss ... Read the complete review

Custard creams, have always been one of my favorite biscuits. They are simple the flavor is classic and can be eaten at almost any occasion, coffee, milk, tea anything tastes good with these. I have eaten many different types of custard creams, almost every brand seems to have their own, but to be honest I have never really noticed a ... Read the complete review

Tesco Value Custard Creams! Since I first started high school, lots of children have bought these just to take to school and share them out with their friends. Or if they were immature they would throw them at people! These are a very cheap luxury and I have a lot to say about them! What are they? These are Tesco ... Read the complete review

Custard creams come top in my list of the biscuit world so to find them for 30p almost made my day. The packaging is very unexciting, but I'd imagine this would be the last of anyone's priorities. The pack contains 400g which works out at thirty two biscuits. I have to admit that they are not the best biscuits in the world, but for ... Read the complete review

I recently discovered Tesco sold my favourite biscuits for only 9p, I bought a packet of 10 Tesco Value Shortbread Biscuits and thought they were fantastic. However I should have known they would be nice because I have been buying Tesco Value Digestives and Tesco Value Custard Creams for a few years now. I think Value products can ... Have you ever heard the saying, 'A biscuit tin isn't a biscuit tin, without Custard Creams'. No.........well neither have I, but it is certainly something that should be said. I'm not sure how long Custard Creams have been getting made, but it must have been 100 years or more, I guess. They have certainly been in our biscuit tin, since I was a ... Read the complete review

Custard creams have long been my Achilles heel. Even though I am now an adult, and so should have developed self control, I am utterly unable to just eat one. I therefore figured that at least if I swapped to value I'd be limiting the financial damage done by my lack of restraint. Value custard creams come in the traditional blue and ... Custard Cream biscuits are one of those products that hasn't really got a brand known for making them, I'm aware that Hills make a version but other than that it's simply a case of picking up whatever packet of Custard Creams I happen to see on the odd occasion that I fancy one of these biscuits. At 30p for a 400g packet of the biscuits ... Read the complete review

Tesco Custard Creams is a very cheap alternative to the well known and popular biscuit brand - Custard Creams. At around 30p for a double pack of these biscuits, you feel at the moment of purchase that you can't really go wrong. And upon first taste - they don't disappoint. Normally I try and steer well clear of "value" or ... Read the complete review

Value brands - sometimes they are great, and you can't believe that you would ever pay more for a "named" brand again, and some are as cheap in quality as they are in price, to be relegated back to the "only if I am desperate" category. I always like to try the value version before coming to a conclusion, as I have ... Read the complete review

I became a convert to the Tesco value custard cream about 2 years ago in a bid to drive down escalating shopping costs. Looking at them I realised these must be a by product of quality control, there is a definitive Jacobs triangle on them all but may you can't read the name or the cream isn't perfectly aligned between the biscuits or the biscuit ... Tesco Value Custard Creams seem to have been jumping around in price a bit recently. Not so long ago, the price crept up to the point where we stopped buying them for a while. But since they've come back down to 30p for a 400g packet, we've added them back to our shopping list. The Tesco own brand version are only 43p for the same sized packet, ... Read the complete review
