When it comes to digestive biscuits I think McVities are by far the best you can buy, whether they are plain or covered in chocolate I love McVities Digestives. However as with everything I buy I try to save money and in the quest I have started buying Tesco Value Digestive Biscuits. So far all of the biscuits I have bought from the Tesco Value Range has been surprisingley nice and I find these biscuits to be ok but not as nice as some of the other varieties. Tesco Value Digestive Biscuits are easily recognisable as all of the other products from the Value range. Simple blue, white and red packaging with a picture of whats inside. They cost 31p for a 400g ... Read the complete review

As you may know I am currently recovering from Swine Flu. Dave brought it back from Scotland and shared it with me - how kind! It's a good job I love him! Anyway we did a bit of shopping before he went back to Edinburgh and I decided to get one of two treats for when I was on my own and feeling a bit sorry for myself. I wanted something nice but not too high on sugar and calories as I do find it far too easy to think - oh, I'm not very well I will eat what I like to cheer myself up - not a good idea where I am concerned! One of the things I decided to buy was a packet of Tesco Value Digestive Biscuits. I like digestives for eating on their own, ... Read the complete review

These 33p digestives are a bargain. Normal digestives are priced usually around a pound or more yet these little beasts are only 33p. They used to be 25p before the credit crunch but 33p is still more than acceptable. I am a huge biscuit lover, I love almost any type of biscuit but there is a charm to a digestive. In flavour and texture these only lack slightly when compared to that of a standard high class digestive biscuit. The only real difference is the presentation, because these biscuits are from the Tesco value range they have the rather ugly blue and white packaging. In every Tesco I have been in they are always on the bottom shelf in rows of ... Read the complete review

I have a serious addiction to biscuits, seriously! I munch my way through packets and packets a week and as someone who has been skinny as a rake for the past 5 years suddenly it's all catching up with me and landing on my hips! So I'm trying my best to avoid the things but succumbed yesterday to these in my local Tesco's when I saw them at the bargain price of 34p a packet and I have to admit to being quite partial to digestives! The Packaging.... Larger than average plastic tube shaped packet. On the front there is a picture of the biscuits and on that in red, white and navy writing I'm told they are Tesco 'Value' Digestive Biscuits, there is a ... Read the complete review

Tesco Value Digestive Biscuits are seriously cheap at 31p for a 400g packet. The same size packet from McVities costs £1.26, and the same size Tesco own brand product costs 69p. So there's quite a saving to be had by switching to these value biccies. Opening up the packet for the first time, I was initially a bit disappointed with these. The very first biscuit in my packet was broken! Okay, this could happen to any digestive that was mistreated in transit, but for it to happen the first time I tried this particular brand was just asking for me to form a bad impression. These were saved from being written off straight to my bad books though ... Read the complete review
