Tesco Value Egg & Bacon Mini Savoury Bites

I get these sometimes when my mate is coming round and we have a few picky foods while we are watching a film. These are like mini scotch eggs but have got an egg mayo filling that has got bits of bacon mixed into it. The filling is covered up with sausagemeat and rolled in bright orange breadcrumbs that look sooooooo synthetic its untrue! They are tasty but you need a bit of sauce to dip them into because they're proper dry and can make me choke sometimes when a dry bit goes down the wrong way. I love eating 'picky' foods sometimes so I buy these on the odd occasion. They are basically mini scotch eggs but have slight twist; instead of having a whole egg in between the sausage meat and breadcrumbs, there is an egg mayonnaise and small pieces of bacon. They come in a pack of 12 and they will set you back around 90p. These eggs are cheap so you know that the best ingredients aren't going to be used. I had made my own peppery Scotch Eggs for my granddaughters birthday party last week but thought they might be a little spicy for the younger guests so I decided to buy a couple of packs of mini party eggs to arrange on the buffet around the larger Scotch Eggs.
