EGGS- SELLENT! (Tesco Value Eggs)

Advantages: cheap from 10p per egg - same as all other eggs

Whilst browsing reviews on tesco value products (trying to save some money) I saw these and as these are the eggs I regularly buy I thought I would let you know what I think...

You can buy these in packs of 6 for 88p(just under 15p each). In packs of 15 for £1.50 (10p each) and I have seen more recently packs of 10 for £1 (10p each) from Tesco (duh). They are part of the value range which is frowned upon by some due to the plain packaging and 'vaue' status but inside its all the same.

I cant really 'fill' out a review on eggs all I can say is that these are the only eggs that I ever buy. (we use a lot of eggs as my partner eats 2/3 raw in his protein shakes) The eggs always seem to be fine and there has always been 2-3 weeks in which to eat them. They are of an average medium size (approx 55g) but the size and shape range in the box. For each 55g egg they contain 83kcal.

Please note they are from caged hens but until a few years back most eggs were.

I prefer to buy the larger sized packs for better value.

A great cheap and nutritional dinner maker.

I would definately recommend these eggs and advise you to spend the extra money saved by 'down grading' on something much more useful, exciting, fun etc

Why pay more for a product that seems to be exactly the same? (in my opinion)

Summary: Its an egg - no really it is ( and eggs-sellent value lol)
