Tesco Value Horseradish Sauce
Newest Review: ... my conclusion is that it was alright to eat but I just expected something else. I'm not going to buy the Tesco Value sauce ... more  ... again and from now on I'll stick to my Coleman's horseradish as the taste is just better and richer and it's not so runny.

For a horseradish sauce the Tesco Value sauce contains surprisingly little horseradish, only 5.8% in total. And unfortunately you can easily taste that lack too. Horseradish is something you can always find in my fridge with a huge backup stock in the cupboard as well. I'm just addicted to it and use it on almost everything; be it a beef sandwich, roasted potatoes and parsnips and of course potato mash My usual brand is Coleman's but after having several great experiences with Tesco Value I gave the own brand Horseradish Sauce a try. Unfortunately it is a hit and miss with the own brand products and this here was more of a miss than a hit. So quick and easy to make. 
Naughty as regards calories!! The same as normal tomatoes. Packaging is unattractive. Cheaper than lemons, handy to have in the cupboard for emergencies. Taste, smell... a nice change, cheap, interesting taste is the same as the expensive stuff, adds flavour slightly runnier, a little fattening, packaging isnt great.
