Tesco Value Instant Noodles Chicken Flavour Description: Manufacturer: Tesco / Instant Noodles. Anyone who reads my reviews will know that I have become converted to the whole no frills packaging trend that is currently sweeping our supermarkets. Previously, I would have bypassed the cheap and nasty wrappings in ... Read the complete review

I know another tesco value product! Yesterday I rated the supernoodles in the chicken flavour but i also eat these and wanted to write a review on them. I am always on the look out for a bargin and to compare products with leading brands so I thought I would give theses a go, they were only 9p! tescos own branded noodles are 23p and ... I always have a plentiful supply of these inside my kitchen cupboard and they are a quick and easy meal in themselves. Occasionally I'll have Batchelors Supernoodles and they are completely different to these, the noodles in these cheaper packets are often much thinner and the soup base is thinner as well. Depending on what I fancy I'll have ... Read the complete review

These are seriously satisfying if you are in a hurry and / or on a budget! I mean at only 8 pence a packet you can't go wrong. What you are getting here is a small portion of dried noodles in a pack - cheap looking, but not nasty packaging. Within the pack there is also a sachet of chicken flavouring. They are simplicity to ... Read the complete review

I purchased an instant Value Chicken flavour noodles which areavailable in all Tesco stores .A single packet serves one person and it costs 9p (£1.38/kg) . I am a huge fan of instant noodles, not only because they are convinient but because some (for example Batchelors Super Noodles ) also taste good. It is easy to make the noodles ... Reading my reviews you would think I eat all day - well you'd almost be right! I often eat these noodles for lunch so thought I would review them for you, so you might have a try! I work in an office with no microwave but access to hot water so I have to be as creative as I can with hot food choice. I went for the obvious pot noodle ... Read the complete review

**INTRO Before I start let it be known that I am not fanatical about noodles in the first place, that's not to say that this review is all doom and gloom. With a tentative thought of 'nothing to really lose price tag of 8p' I thought I would try out this product. **FINDING THE PRODUCT I must admit I normally like ... Read the complete review

I usually enjoy the more premium brands such as Koka or the other brands that are bigger. However these choices to come with a more expensive price tag. I had decided to try the Tesco Value Instant Noodles, because I have been using quite a wide range of products that are part of the Tesco Value range. Naturally I had to try them for ... After we had tried and tested the Value Bacon Flavour Noodles we thought that it would be worth trying the chicken ones too, expecting to get much the same result. The noodles are very pale looking in comparison to Batchelors Supernoodles, but after the success of the bacon variety I did not want this to put me off so continued to ... Read the complete review

We used to do our shop in Sainsbury's but this month I have decided to swap to Tesco to see what the difference is. I love to try the value products. Granted that some of them are horrible and pointless, but on the occasion some are great. We love Asian food especially stir-fry. I saw a recipe on a frugal website to use ... Ah, Value noodles - the typical student food. The shelf in my cupboard is always stocked with hundreds of Value noodle packs. In the well known withe/blue/red Tesco Value packing you'll find the dried instant noodles and a sachet of chicken flavouring. To prepare the noodles you heat a cupful of water in a small pan, add the ... Read the complete review

10p. That's all it costs to have yourself a nutiritious, socially acceptable meal. 10p. You can't even get a packet of Space Raiders of a Freddo for that. Once only used by students, the humble chicken noodles have exploded into popular culture due to their versatility (and tastiness). At a mere 65g there is enough in a packet to ... Looking at my latest reviews, and the ones I have to write, it would seem that a large proportion of them are and will be about value foods. Ah well, sign on the times! I bought a packet of value noodles after a friend at uni had some supernoodle in a thermos for her lunch the other day (which I thought was a pretty nifty idea!) It was ... Read the complete review

I once had a friend that lived almost solely on these at university. She claimed they were the best thing ever as she could survive a week only 9p noodles as well as having a meal out two to three times a week. She had only a couple of pans and next to no cutlery. I suggested maybe cutting the eating out and buying quality food but it was soon ... Read the complete review

Tesco Value Noodles have saved me a fortune over the years. The packaging is not very attractive so it,s not eye catching on the supermarket shelf and occasionally I have had to ask an assistant to point them out but I never fail to stock up on them and have plenty in the cupboard. I have three teenage daughters, all of whom have introduced ... Read the complete review

If you're a student of any sort, there's a good chance that you've snacked on these noodles at least once in your student life, or at least contemplated it. To many, it's going to seem like not only scraping the bottom of the barrel, but turning the barrel upside down and shaking it so see what's left inside! Still, the phrase "you get what ... Being a newcomer to the Tesco Value range, I was a little bit dubious that a packet of noodles, (or any food for that matter) costing less than 10p could be any good. Being used to eating either super noodles or the generic chinese noodles that cost around 50p per pack, I did not think that value noodles would be up to much. The noodle cake ... I'm trying to save money for my hols and up until now I have bought batchelors super noodles as I like them for a quick tea if i'm off out or late home from college. I am always looking for cheap meals to save me a little bit of money and I found these noodles recently in my local Tesco store. These are great for people like students who are living on a strict budget, because they literally cost pennies, are easy to make, taste pretty good and tend to fill you up to some extent. I am not a fan of eating noodles as a staple because frankly they are very nasic nutritionally (there's not really anything in them), but certainly as a bulking ... Read the complete review
