Along with the snowballs that I have just reviewed, I picked these up. They cost me 39p for a pack of six and are made up of a biscuit base topped with marshmallow and finished off in a thin layer of chocolate. What I didn't realize when I picked these up was the fact that they didn't include the dollop of jam in the middle like the more expensive versions of these do. I was a little disappointed when I read the packet but didn't think it would make much of a difference. The tea cakes are quite small and fit very securely in the palm of your hand so it literally is only a mouthful or two if you are pushing it. You need at least two with a brew or if ... I actually came on to write about something else just now, but since I am working my way through a pack of these just now, I may as well write about these. I've bought these loads of times before, so I guess I really do like them. situated on the bottom shelf at the Biscuit aisle in Tesco, these are Tesco's version of the Tunnocks Tea Cake in a way. This is part of the Tesco Value range, which is the cheapest budget range. I like a lot of the things from the range, and you cannot fault the price of things in this range either. These cost 39p for a pack of 6. The pack is 125g. Packaging isn't that exciting, but it is better than some budget packaging ... Read the complete review

I do love chocolate and so when I was mooching around Tesco the other day and spotted these priced at 39p I simply had to buy them. I have tried a few sweet offerings from Tesco before and been quite pleased and it was a horrible rainy day where I just fancied going home, slipping on my pyjamas and having a nice coffee with a pack (all 6 of these) lol. The Packaging... White and blue plastic wrapper over a clear tray of 6 of the teacakes.
