We bought this pack of Tesco Milk hocoalte Digestive Bars this week to see what they are like and was pleasantly surprised. There are 18 bars in the pack and each is wrapped up individually so great for use in packing up or for giving kids for a treat and they can hold the biscuit inside the wrapper so they dont get messy fingers. I cant remember off hand how much the pack was but it definitely wasnt that expensive and seeing that you get 18 bars it was really good value. Next time I go in Tesco I will check and update the review. The wrapper is white with Tesco value in the top right corner. The best before date is end July 2010 but ... Read the complete review

I've been impressed with a few of the biscuits from the Tesco Value Range, so naturally I decided I should give these ones a go as well, as a cheap alternative to the more expensive biscuit bars like Kit Kats and Fox's. A packet of 18 Tesco Value Milk Chocolate Digestive Bars will set you back just £1.03 which is a very cheap 6p per bar. Opening up the multipack you'll find a selection of sizeable little individually wrapped chocolate biscuit bars. They're about the size of a standard Fox's biscuit bar such as a Triple bar. The wrappers are quite thin but sturdy enough to withstand being left in the bottom of a lunchbox or bag all day without splitting or ... Read the complete review

These milk chocolate digestive bars are part of the Tesco value range of foods. My gran buys them on a constant basis. When me and my brother were kids, we were allowed a chocolate bar when we went round there, as a treat. Now, my 5 year old son finds himself in the same situation whenever he goes round to hers. As such, she constantly stocks them. You buy them in a multipack of 18, which costs around £1. They come out at around 6p each, and although they are small bars, a snack sized bar of choc is often just what you need, as opposed to a full sized bar. Nutritionally, there's nothing special about them, pretty standard really. Each bar gives you 90 ... Read the complete review

Since my economy drive over the past few months I've been switching products for my packed lunch I have at work in order to save some money. One way in which I've done this is by going for Tesco Value snacks instead of the leading brand. These have been the ideal replacement and I've barely noticed the difference. The main benefit is the price. a pack of 18 costs me £1.03 at the supermarket (which equates to 5.7p per biscuit in case you're attempting the maths at this point) which means no other well known brand comes even close in terms of value. They are well packages and easy to open. The sell by dates are usually nine months after purchase as well so ... Read the complete review

90 calories of wonderful chocolatey loveliness! I love these biscuits. There is no such thing (in my humble opinion) as a packed lunch without a chocolate biscuit, and if you're on an economy drive like a lot of the country, these are the biscuits for your lunch! At only £1.03 for 18 biscuits, these are a bargain. Admittedly, I appreciate a lovely chunk of a more premium bar although as a sweet ending to your sarnie and fruit, these really can do the job. Although the chocolate is quite thin, the sweetness of the biscuit could easily match any other chocolate digestive biscuit. Best of all, I was able to put these in my French student's packed lunch ... Read the complete review
