"A lolly-fiend's best friend." These Mini-Milk-a-like lollies once made a brief appearence in ASDA, but it seems TESCO have taken them over now, as I'd been looking for them in ASDA for a while, only to come across them in my local TESCO. Price: At 75p, they're working out around 9p each. Which is just as well, seeing that you're likely to wolf a box down on the way home. Flavours: Although they could be a little softer and more realistic, the flavours are quite pleasant, about the right strength, and don't leave an unpleasant after taste (like the Sainsbury ones.) Artificial? - Actually ... Read the complete review

The last time we went shopping at tesco we decided to buy a few packs of lollies , as my little girly has a few almost everyday . My 3year old just picked some packs randomly and dumped them in the trolley and one was a tesco value pack , which I ws about to put back in the freezer ..but while my little one clung to it chanting ' yummy new lolly' I remembered a review of this productI had read sometime back of I-am -joy and I let her have them..after all 8 lollies for 76 p wasn't going to burn a hole in my pocket. The lollies came in the typical non-fancy tesco value pack and each lolly(of generous size) was individually wrapped in a clear plastic wrap . ... Read the complete review

The Tesco Value range is going from strength to strength in my opinion, this week I have come across another gem in their Value Milk Lollies which cost 75p for eight Mini Milk sized lollies and are practically identical to their more expensive counterpart. The lollies are individually wrapped in plain see through plastic wrapper, they look the same as Mini Milks and come in the same three flavours - chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. My single complaint about these lollies is the fact that they are much more solid after removing from the freezer, this is easy to solve by simply leaving the lolly on the side for a minute or two before unwrapping ... I tried these recently having vague memories of loving the mini milk ice lolly range when I was younger, I thought at worse they would be passable and at 75p for a pack of 8 would last for a couple of weeks in our house. I have to say my first impressions have been entirely favourable, once you throw away the box and take off the wrappers there really is very little difference to the original Mini Milk Lollies. The flavours come in Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry, I liked the vanilla most and then the Strawberry as the Chocolate does taste just a little bit artificial, although I have to be honest I never liked them as mini milks either. The vanilla tastes of ... Read the complete review

With my pursuit of childhood recollections now moving on to ice lollies... I stumbled upon these Tesco Value Milk Lollies when browsing the entire Tesco Value range doing an online monthly shop and just had to give them a try with the "they are only 89p for a box, even if they are awful I wont have lost too much" attitude. That was 4 months ago and I am now up to a three boxes a month habit with resulting cravings when I run out. I was nicely surprised and the white ones have the same Mini Milk taste as the white Mini Milk lollies that will take anyone back to their childhoods. My husband doesn't really like ice lollies and won't (yet) try the White ... Read the complete review
