Tesco Value Ready Salted Crisps

... actually works out in most areas to be of better nutritional value. A 12 pack of Tesco value crisps will cost you 47p A 12 pack of Tesco regular crisps will cost you £1.56. Overall rating. If your not a brand snob they I would recommend these, I prefer the fact that they aren't as salty as many other crisps and that nutrionally they are better for you than Tesco's non value range. 5/5 I will be buying these in future Well done Tesco once again :-)...more

Premium Review Tesco Value Ready Salted Crisps: Are you ready for Tesco value salted crisps? (278 words)

On a tighter budget this week so I decided I would pick up the value crisps for my daughters pack lunch. Part of Tesco's no frills range theses crisps are packaged in a white, very plain bag. Each bag contains 18g of potato crisps, an ideal size for my daughters pack lunch. The taste Theses are ready salted crisps that are not as heavily salted as many other ready salted crisps, but I do think they have a sufficient salty taste. The texture and crunch is no different to any other crisps, OK so maybe these crisps maybe thinner sliced but I have eaten other leading brand crisps that have been sliced just as ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cheap and cheerful (306 words)

Crisps tend to be something that I'm less fussy about when it comes to cheaper brands, particularly if it's something like Ready Salted - I figure that it's difficult to get something so simple wrong, and I've never really been able to tell much of a difference in the taste, that is, unless they skimp on the salt, at which point I get a little antsy. Tesco's Ready Salted crisps, sadly, are guilty as charged, and whilst by no means inedible, they wouldn't be my preference when Walkers multipacks don't tend to be that dear these days. That said, you can buy 12 of Tesco's packs for 45p, which is ridiculously cheap, and so somewhat tempting if you're on a ...  Read the complete review

When it comes to the consumption of crisps it's a massive downfall of mine. I kid you not I've eaten all 12 bags I got of these today in one sitting and without thinking about it...till no doh! I saw these in Tesco's priced at 47p for 12 bags and thought they were begging to bought and for some reason I'm really, really fond of plain ready salted crisps and as I grabbed a bag I was really looking forward to tucking into them because I'm also fond of cheaper crisps! The Packaging: The outer bag that holds 12 individual bags of crisps is mainly blue and white in colour. Its a big plastic bag with a picture of the crisps on the front and I'm ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Better Value than Walkers! (378 words)

Despite the fact that I eat lots of different flavoured crisps, Ready Salted is my absolute favourite and a flavour I come back to again and again. Some time ago I decided to try the Tesco Value Ready Salted crisps and while I wasn't really expecting much, they are actually extremely tasty and I haven't bought my usual Walkers for a long time. For 47p you get 12 packets of crisps, smaller than even the bags in the Walkers multipacks but even this suits me down to the ground as I am dieting so to be able to eat a small packet of crisps is great as it satisfies my cravings without me wasting too many calories on them. The texture of these crisps is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Value Ready Salted Crisps: Packed full of flavour (369 words)

Since me and my partner have moved in together we have been trying the best we can to try and save money and so we decided to try Tesco's own brand of crisps. Like most other supermartket brands the packet is plain and simple and uses the Tesco colours of blue and white. The packet's are not as big as other packets you can get however when I opened the packet I found there seemed to be just as many crisps in there as other brands. The packet is white with a navy blue banner near the top with the flavour written in white. In the top left hand corner is the Tesco Value logo. There is also a picture of crisps on the front white look quite appetising. But the ...  Read the complete review
