Advantages: cheap

Disadvantages: a bit bland with oily aftertaste

I tried these mainly because my friend likes them. Normally I'd go for something more strongly flavoured but as I quite like the Tesco Tortilla chips I thought I'd give it a go. Well, they are ok but just not my taste; to grease and not enough salt - the grease also means an oily aftertaste.
-----------------
Packing
The crisps come in the well-known Tesco Value bag with the blue and white design. You can get different sized packs but we got the one with 28 packs - yes, a bit greedy :-)
The single packs are 18g each which is the standard portion size of crisps and enough for a small snack.
All important information is given on the back and Tesco clearly says that they didn't use any artificial flavour & colours or MSG.
-----------------
Nutrition
The nutrition info looks rather good and healthy till you realise that it's for a small bag (18g) and not for the whole thing - ah, how cruel the world can be.

18g contain:
Energy - 95 kcal
Fat - 6.0g
Saturates - 0.7g
Salt - 0.3g

That is quite a lot of fat and if you are looking for an a little bit healthier option have a look at Tesco Value salted tortilla chips. Both are quite high in salt - around 5% of your GDA.
-----------------
Look & Taste
The crisps look nice and crunchy when you open the bag - they are indeed very crunchy bit sadly also very greasy.
They left me with a greasy aftertaste and one pack was more than enough for me. I also think that they are a bit bland, I don't know if it's not enough salt or maybe the oil is too strong but almost all other salted crisps I tried were better.
-----------------
Price & Value
The price is unbeatable, the value pack comes with 28 packs for roughly 1.60 Pound. Prices at Tescos don't seem to be to stable at the moment, I've sen them both for more and less earlier. Still, between 1.50 and 1.60 for 26 packs - there's nothing to complain about.

Due to the grease aftertaste and the bit bland flavour I can only give them 05 out of 10 - cheap but not the best option.

Summary: I don't think I'll buy them again
