Introduction We have been having 'Chilli Night' on a Thursday for a good few months now and these kidney beans have become a regular ingredient!! Kidney beans can be used for all sorts of things and they add that little bit of extra flavour into a meal. There are lots of different brands of kidney beans, but we ...  Read the complete review

What a great bargain these are! They cost a mere 19p on average and in my experience the taste is no different to any other tinned kidney bean. Tesco Value Red Kidney Beans I'm very much a fan of kidney beans, they pick up the flavour of whatever you put with them, they have a fabulous soft but slightly grainy texture, and they add a bit of colour to dishes as well. Oh, and if you're in need of additional fibre, these are an excellent source for that too. This particular ...  Read the complete review

Where ever you look these days we're being told to drink more water or eat 5 a day fruit and vegetables, and I have to admit I sometimes find it quite hard to do this. Red Kidney beans help as half a can is equal to 1 of the 5 a day and if you add more vegetables to a chilli dish with the beans you can make it up to perhaps 3 out of the ...  Read the complete review
