Tesco Value Rich Tea biscuit........


When is a rich Tea not a Rich Tea? Well i cant answer that becuase indeed the Tesco Value Range has come up tops yet again. The price of a large packet of the rich tea Biscuits from the value range is under 30 pence and this is a total bargain when you compare it to the branded makes of rich tea which can cost around the pound mark.


A rich tea is a plain and fairly boring biscuit and i feel that the price should be reflective of that. There is no need in my view to be spending out nearly a pound for such a boring biscuit! the fact that the rich tea in my household is merely there to be dunked in a nice cup of tea makes it even more reason to only spend a small amount when buying them.

The Tesco Value Range is brilliant for these Rich Tea biscuits as they are cheap and taste exactly as they would had you of bought a more popular branded name. They dunk well and taste good. They are of the same size as a branded rich tea and i think even if a blind taste test was done i wouldn't know the difference.

So why i find myself asking people would you want to pay more for something that is pretty much the same in all areas!!! Dont buy the branded makes and stick with the Tesco Value Range. Trust me you wont know the difference!
