Advantages: cheap, good taste

Disadvantages: breaks off when dipped in hot drinks

Me and my son are a big fan of tea biscuits- plain and simple. I always used to buy the McVities for 63p but this time when I went to Tesco I noticed their value range tea biscuits which was just 25p for 300g and I thought well, I cant be wrong for 25p- let's give it a try.

Ingredients-
Wheat Flour, Sugar, Vegetable Oil, Raising Agents (Ammonium Bicarbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Disodium Diphosphate), Barley Malt Extract, Glucose Syrup, Salt, Preservative (Sodium Metabisulphite)

I usually enjoy mine with a cup of coffee. Usually these tea biscuits are meant to be dipped as well- but not the Tesco ones. Every time I dip it, they full break easily and fall apart in my cup of coffee. I thought it was probably just in the first bite but every one of those was like that. Might be they are great to eat just as it is- without dipping- because my son still loves eating these- I don't think he can make much difference!

The taste of these biscuits is good and you can't make much difference between these and any other branded ones. And I still agree for that price it is worth it- but would not buy it for dipping purposes.

I do buy quite a few things from the Tesco value range and still like it but would probably buy these biscuits again- might be I'll try their other variants.

Summary: Good value but i dont like it too much.

Good review but what about their number of calories per biscuit?

Something made their collapse upon immersion inevitable.

Biscuit gunk at the bottom of your tea is not good.
