As you probably all know by now, I like anything that has the slightest bit of chocolate on it and is full of sugar and calories. I read about these the other week and whilst I was buying my fourth pot of Ben and Jerry's ice cream which was half price in Tesco's, I went on the hunt for these. I actually haven't had them for years and was delighted to see them beckoning me when I saw them on the shelf. It was like a love story; their eyes met and they fell deeply in love! Another bargain from the Tesco Value range. I love these and the Teacakes probably equally. I cannot taste the difference between these and the Tunnocks ones. Well I guess the Tunnocks ones are slightly fluffier and a bit larger, but these are about 3 times cheaper. These cost 38p for for a 6 pack and the pack weight is 110g. The packaging is pretty basic. The Snowballs are in a plastic tray. The tray is quite deep and they sit in here alright. The whole pack is wrapped in a cellophane wrapper. It is a white wrapper which has the Tesco Value writing on it, and the writing on the pack is in blue. Each Snowball has 80 calories and 3.7g, so ... Read the complete review

Hubby was complaining recently that the biscuit jar was emptier by the week, so during my weekly shop at Tesco, I needed to stock up. Strangely enough at that time, there were no decent offers on biscuits that hubby would like, but I did spot these Tesco value snowballs for 38p. I don't often buy many Tesco value products, because many of the ones that I have experience of have been extremely poor quality, however, I though it was worth a go at 38p. Well I am very glad that I did as they are lovely. The packet contains 6 snowballs, each containing 80 calories, 9.1g of sugar (bit of a snag) and 3.7g fat. So not too bad calorie wise, but a ...
