 ... thin and runny it was but I needn't have worried. This was the lovely thick creamy consistency of a good tartare sauce. The taste was great too - I am not going to attempt to describe the taste of tartare sauce itself but suffice it to say this is definitely a good one! I think I may have been conned - let me explain. When I was last shopping in Tesco's I needed some tartare sauce and decided to try Tesco Value Tartare Sauce. It never occurred to me to check the prices along the shelf as I, foolishly, thought that the value option would be the cheapest. I was quite wrong. I have just looked at the website to check the price for this review and I found that the Tesco Value Tartare Sauce cost me 65p for 165g whereas the ordinary Tesco Tartare sauce would have cost me 61p for 180g! I appreciate that the difference here is only a matter of pennies but it does beg the question - how many other Tesco Value items are ...  Read the complete review
