Tesco have got their own range of products called "Value Range" which are meant to offer good value for money.

I regularly buy their chopped tomatoes, which come in a tin exactly as the one on the photo that Dooyoo displays and cost 21 pennies for 400 gramms.

CONTENT

You have 400 gramms of finely chopped tomatoes, they look small, cute and in good shape.

WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH THESE TOMATOES.

I find them ok for most dishes requiring chopped tomatoes, like Bolognese sauce, other sauces to accompany pasta and some time I fancy scrambling a couple of eggs and these tomatoes. Probably one of the few times when I manage to prepare a dinner for less than one Pound.

RELATIVE VALUE.

Compared to other canned tomatoes, they fare very well, I prefer them to the ones of Sainsburys for example. Given their very low cost, they are in my opinion the best option available out there if you look at chopped tomatoes
