I found this little gem of a tin in my local Tesco last weekend and as chopped tomatoes were in a recipe for Jamie Oliver's lasagne I decided to give them a go which then got me buying the ingredients for the lasagne on a budget!
I had honestly expected these tomatoes to be watery and not very tasty but I have to say I was pleasantly suprised. The juice was alot thicker than I had expected and the contents of the tin smelt and looked no different than the more expensive brands. The taste was maybe slightly tangier but in a good way for the recipe I was making. The tin was full, not half full as in some brands and they distributed through the lasagne mix exactly the same as their more expensive counterparts.
I am a convert and would encourage other consumers to try them. The nutrition breakdown on the tin is clear and easy to read, the tin may not have a pull top but at the price of them I am not adverse to using a tin opener!
I take my "snobbery" hat off to Tesco Chopped Tomatoes - I am a convert!

Summary: Wonderful! A cheaper and equally as good a product. Recomended!
