Advantages: Taste great, cheaper alternative to brands

Being a confident cook, I'm always conjuring up something in the kitchen. I think probably 8/10 times I will reach to the cupboard and grab a tin of Tesco Value chopped Tomatoes. I always buy these in bulk and stock up so I know I have a supply in the cupboard for a pasta sauce, to make a sauce for my lamb roast, for my hubby to have on toast, the list is endless! At just 19p a tin these are fantastic value for money and another success for Tesco Value range!

I personally do not like raw tomatoes so I'm generally not keen on the plum tomatoes as these can be a bit too big for sauces etc. Chopped tomatoes are perfect. They cook quickly aswell (this is the time when I think they are edible to me - different taste in my opinion!)

The no frills packageing isn't as eye catching as some other brands but why spend 65p on a branded tin when you can save loads by buying these. They taste just the same and I will never be without them!

Summary: stashed high in my store cupboard!
