You may not get the posh packaging or the precise presentation but Tesco have got the major part right, the Tesco Value individual strawberry trifle is priced at just 38p. (113g tub ) Tesco do offer a 450g family sized trifle which is priced at just under £1, I agree that this trifle offers better value than the individual portions but it also poses a portion control problem - in layman's terms if your eyes are bigger than your belly then there is a huge temptation to demolish the whole bowl full between you. The Tesco value strawberry trifle is just a basic no frills trifle that makes a good quick and easy dessert and it is one sweet that is very popular ... Read the complete review

Tescos strawberry Trifle. ******************** I suppose l do have a sweet tooth, but actually l do usually prefer savoury foods. I quite often turn down ice cream or cakes. However I have a confession, l love trifle!!! Having said that l hardly ever buy it, mainly because l try not to buy too many sweet things or fattening things come to that. My mum used to make her own trifle (well its not really difficult), when l used to live at home. Sometimes we will buy the Birds eye packets which you have to make up yourselves, or on super lazy days we look for a ready made trifle. This is a review for Tescos value ... Read the complete review

This review is for the value version that you can get from Tesco. I don't know if it is a blip, but I don't seem to be able to get it from larger stores - only the Tesco Metro nearby. This individually wrapped trifle with a foil lid is available in strawberry, although I think that they do ... Read the complete review

I like the odd Trifle, and I have to say that I think the Tesco Value one is as good as any brand name one. Found in the chiller section next to the other chilled desserts, this is in a 113g tub and costs 38p. The packaging is average. This is a dumpy looking tub that is a little wide, and not that tall. It is plastic and see through and you can see the layers of the Trifle through this easily. The lid is a peel back foil lid and is mainly white in colour. There is loads of small writing on this listing all the ingredients, and calories. The Tesco Value Branding is also quite small and the Strawberry Trifle part stands out as it is white writing in ...
