The 'Value' brand from Tesco has the same packaging throughout which is basically a plain white background with red and blue detailing and print. I wouldn't say that the Value brand looks particularly good nor is it eye-catching but when you see some of the money that you can save by switching to this brand from what you would usually buy this doesn't seem all that important! One item in the Tesco Value brand that I have bought recently to try out is the "Low Fat Strawberry Yogurt" which costs 9 pence for a little 125g pot of yogurt... lets face it you cant go too wrong for that price! Peeling off the foil-backed lid, I can see that the ... Read the complete review

On my continued search for cheap yet good yoghurt I decided to try one of the cheapest around. At only 9p for a 125g pot of Strawberry yoghurt, you'd be lucky to find a better price than this Tesco Value Low Fat Strawberry Yoghurt. The first thing I noticed when I peeled back the lid of this yoghurt was the smell! It was so strawberry and fruity, it smelt delicious. Texture wise it's a little thin, and not as thick as a more expensive yoghurt, but it's not totally watery. There are a few fruit pieces n the yoghurt, but they're few and far between so if you're not a fan of the dreaded 'bit's, I wouldn't worry about finding many in these, and if you ... My favourite yoghurt of all time are by yeo valley, but at £1.50 for 4 yoghurt pots they simply aren't an option during the last year of my degree. Since I had to go cheap anyway I decided to go the cheapest and, at 9p per pot, tesco value yoghurt fills the requirements-seriously, I can get 16.6 pots for the usual price of 4... *PACKAGING* In a word, boring. It comes in a white pot with various shades of blue and the red and blue tesco value logo. The lid is foil and has a handful of strawberries printed on to it. It is surprisingly easy to peel back from the pot without the expected blob of escape artist yoghurt jumping onto your clean clothes. ... Read the complete review

I have been a fan of strawberry yogurts since I was an ickle thing - I suppose because I was such a fussy eater when I was young that there were only a handful of foods I would actually eat - yogurt being one of them. Since then, my love affair with strawberry yogurts has indeed continued, and I particularly like products aimed at kids, as they tend to have less chunks of fruit in them, which I dislike. (I know, I'm such a child at times) :-o. I have bought the Tesco value low fat strawberry yogurts on and off for the past two years or so, after discovering them by complete accident when my dad was doing my shopping for me, and bought these instead ... I love a good yogurt from time to time, it's not that often i will have them so when i am in Tesco i always dive for the Tesco Value Strawberry Yogurts. I do have a love/hate relationship with these pots though, and i will tell you why. I love the flavour but i hate the clumps of Strawberry you can get at the bottom, i really find it hard to eat So i go round it. Tesco Value Strawberry Yoghurt is very simple looking. Blue and White pot with the Tesco logo and ''Low fat Strawberry yogurt'' written on the side. It looks delicious though, as on the top of the lid you will see some Strawberry illustrations that just entice you to buy. These yogurts are also ... Read the complete review
