Advantages: crunchy
Disadvantages: none
The main thing people are going to want to know about these is are they as good as Wheatabix? Well, the answer is YES!
At £1.15 for 24, it's a great price and one that is hard to beat. It's so cheap it makes you want to take the risk about coming away from the leading brand and I am glad I did.
They look identical to the leading brand, which is a good start. Dry, they're brittle and crunchy, and I've never had a problem with them going soft in the packet but then we do eat the lot within about a week.
The taste is lovely, and has that very overpowering sense of fibre to it (my bowels are excited just from me writing about them). It's hard to describe the taste but hopefully it's enough to say they taste like the leading brand.
The texture is great. If you pour the milk on carefully you get a mix of hard and crunchy with soft and soggy, which makes for a sensory extravaganza.
All in all, they're cheap and tasty, just like a good woman.
Summary: do it
