Tesco Custard Slurpers ... little treats for my grandchildren. Last week I had my grandson with me when doing my shopping. We had a long discussion about chocolate slippers . I had no idea what he was talking about. He told me that one of his friend s had one in his packed lunch and it looked very yummy. I had no idea what he was talking about, but not wanting to look silly I asked him to find them as we walked round Tesco. He scanned the shelves as I did my shopping and I must admit that it made a change from his constant chattering. And yes, he find them, much to his delight. Tesco Crispy Lattice Potatoes ... my teenage years and thats when I initially come across this potato product, Lattice Fries as they called them. Having a meal allowance there, everyone wanted these instead of chips and jacket potato, however it was the one thing that the didn t have on the menu for staff which was disappointing. Ten years on, I hadn s had these since I worked at the Harvester and on a recent shopping trip to Tesco, I came across the CRispy Lattice Potato, which instantly bought them back to me and I thought they had got to be like the ones that I used to have back in the day so I popped a packet of them in my trolley to take home and try. Vietnamese River Cobbler ... makes you brainy! Well that s what my Mum told me when I was little, to encourage me to eat my dinner. I believe that a healthy diet is so important and it was whilst discussing fish with a friend I first heard about Vietnamese River Cobbler, which was on sale at the local Tesco, so the next time I was shopping I bought two fillets for our dinner.
