... Colada, Strawberry, Peach and Pear. That is just for starters. There must be at least fifty flavours, and I've tried them all. I never tasted a jelly bean I did not like. The flavours are as close to the real thing as you can get without it being the real thing. You actually need to eat the fruit to get closer. These Jelly Beans are not to be confused with the sugary treats you buy for children. These are strictly for adults. The price alone at about £2.25 for 100 gram tells you that. You have got to taste them to know...more

Premium Review The Jelly Bean Factory Gourmet Beans: Jellybean bonanza of flavours (511 words)

While I was at the video store renting some DVDs for the rainy weather I looked for something tasty to snack on. I spied these jellybeans and realised I hadn't had any jellybeans for years and years and decided to remedy the situation. They were £2 for a tub - I don't know if that is a reflection on video store pricing but it seems rather expensive. I'm almost certain you can get them much cheaper from ASDA and the like. Packaging: The jellybeans come in a 200g purple paper tub with a purple plastic lid. The tub provides you with a flavour guide made up of pictures which explains what each of the flavours look like. The flavour guide did not actually help ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review 36 varieties of jelly bean?! Popcorn? Whatever next, garlic ... (570 words)

When browsing the aisles of Tesco today my eyes spotted a 200g tub of The Jelly Bean Factory Gourmet Beans (36 varieties) and after recently reading a nice positive review on them I decided to pick some up. The tub is a cardboard tub with a polythene seal and a plastic purple lid. The tub is fairly eye catching and displays the usual nutritional information, company information and shows you a picture of each of the 36 varieties. For the purposes of this review we poured the entire contents out in to a bowl and then deemed to work out way through each of the 36 varieties each eating one. At around one hour of sampling the different varieties we have ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Jelly Bean Factory Gourmet Beans: A La Carte...A La Sweets! (631 words)

My husband and son both have real penchant for sweets, with their particular favourite (at the moment anyway!), being jelly sweets, with that in mind when I went shopping, I saw these on offer and threw them straight into the trolley. The product I will now review is - "The jelly bean factory gourmet beans - 300g tub" The packaging itself is a plastic tub with a push in metal lid, that keeps the beans fresh after opening them and also prevents them from spilling into the sweet draw in my fridge...I know how sad, actually having a specific draw for sweets! Within the tub there are around...and please do not pull me up on this as ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review What a mixture (514 words)

I picked up a tube of The Jelly Bean Factory gourmet Range of Jelly Beans for 18p, for a 125g tube. Yes you read that right. Just 18p at Asda. I have often seen them about in the shops but would never dream of paying the high price often asked. However at the paltry price of 18p I thought I would give them a try. We used to east Jelly Beans a few years ago. In fact one of my pleasant holiday memories is regarding taking a large bag of ordinary Jelly Beans on holiday to Greece with us, and eating them slightly frozen out the freezer part of our mini fridge, during the hot evenings. By we know how to live don't we? Although these cheap Jelly Beans are fine they ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Jelly Bean Factory Gourmet Beans: Worth the price? Possibly! (413 words)

Gourmet beans by the Jelly Bean Factory are a cut above the average jelly bean, however they are ridiculously expensive, the Jelly Bean Can which I have costs £6.00 in Debenhams, and only contains 400g. There is a reason why they are so expensive though, they have much better flavours than your average jelly bean, and they have a greater variety of flavours, 36 in all, ranging from lemon and lime and south seas kiwi to pina colada and cafe latte. The flavours are printed on the back of the packaging along with pictures of the different colours, so you can eat them in two ways. Firstly you can pick out the flavours you really like by identifying the ...  Read the complete review
