Not wanting a chocolate treat today and looking around Tesco for something sweet to nibble on I noticed these Jelly Snakes from The Natural Confectionary co. instantly transported back to my childhood at the snakes that I used to add to my pick and mix I picked up a bag ready to try. Contained in the bag as pictured above the packaging is certainly eye catching and has been designed really well, you are told that there are No Artificial Colours and No Artificial Flavours contained and my 200 gram bag was half price at only 69p so quite a bargain I thought to myself. Opening the bag greets your eye with a selection of long jelly snakes, approximately ... Read the complete review

My mum bought me a bag of these today for my journey home from her home in Lancaster to my house in Warrington (yes I am 20 years old!!! :-D but my mummy knows me and my sweeties obsession!!!!), and I sat and munched my way through half the pack in an hour, which made me feel very very greedy til I realised that it was only 295kcal for half the bag and I didn't feel so bad then! The Natural Confectionary Co. has been around since 1941, and I have only ever had one bag of their sweets it was years ago, and not these ones, I seem to remember it was some fruit shaped things, and they were not nice at all. But when I had one of these, I was rather pleasently ... Read the complete review

**Introduction** In need of something to drink and a fancy for something nice and tasty I popped to my local Tesco Express. As I fancied something different than Chocolate I had a look at the sweets section and found this. I was aware of The Natural Confectionery co as I had seen the sour jellies which are available in the range. As I am not a big fan of sour flavours I decided to look for something that was just plain jelly and found this. **Jelly Snakes** As you can imagine, these are not really snakes but Snake shaped Jelly sweets. Within the pack you will find a number of different flavours including Orange, Raspberry, Banana and ... Read the complete review

The natural confectionary company, are a company who try to create sweets using natural fruit flavours. This results in a sweet that is better for your kids (or for the big kids of the house!). They are based in the UK, but have used an old Australian recipe to create these little gems. Indeed, the recipe supposedly dates from 1941! Bring on the trumpets!!!!! The natural confectionary company were relatively unheard of, until they burst onto our screens with a series of hilarious tv adverts. You know the ones? Little gummy bears shouting 'bring on the trumpets', or other little sweets trying to overcome the language ... Read the complete review

In these modern times of over indulgence it is nice to find some sweets that are going back to the old school with a modern twist. Jelly snakes by the natural confectionary co. are a rare treat, these wonderfully soft snakes are about 6" long and just the right consistency between softness and firmness easy to eat they are melt in the mouth with a combination of fabulous flavours which are orange, blackberry, raspberry and banana. As with most decent sweets these do not contain any artifical colours or flavourings, this still does not change the fact that a 100g bag contains 50.5g od sugar but they are sweets after all so difficult for them to ...
