After gaining a little weight prior to my holiday and adding a couple of pounds while away it is finally time to take control of my weight so have begin a diet.
On Saturday I went shopping and hoped to find plenty of low fat snacks as I know that I don't get much time during the day but do tend to continually snack once my son is in bed.

I was pleased to see on offer the skinny cow mint choc chip bars £3 for three. The box states that each stick contains 94 calories and less than 3% fat. On reading detailed nutrition it states that there is 1.8g of fat per stick so for once actually lower than advertised.
Each Lolly is individually wrapped so can be removed from the box so they fit easily in the freezer if like me you are short of space.

Last night I decided to try one I was pleasantly pleased to see a large ice cream stick approximately the same size as a magnum. I did initially think there was a joke on the stick but it is actually the skinny cow website address. The ices cream itself is very creamy with a fresh taste of mint the chocolate is more like crumbs but there are plenty of them. I was completely satisfied when I had eaten it and it left my mouth with a fresh taste. I often worry with diet food that there can be a chemical after taste but there was none.

I completely felt I had a treat and will be purchasing more next week.

I have checked out the website and it is full of cool things to do. It has a cowculator which helps you justify purchasing a new item of clothing by calculating how much it costs to wear it based on your predictions, it has competitions to enter and obviously promotion of there items.

I would highly recommend these for anyone not just those watching there figures.
