I had a voucher given to me the other day for a free trial size pack of chocolates from Thorntons. I like most people, will never say no to a freebie, and as chocolate is involved, I couldn't wait to get some! I took my voucher in and was given a creamy coloured box, with pictures of chocolates scattered across the front, took it straight home and dived in, well not literally! I opened the box to find 6, yes only 6 chocolates. Each one was individually wrapped in a different coloured foil. Thankfully there was a brief description about each chocolate on the side of the box, so I could see what each colour represented. Soft ... Read the complete review

I'm not going to lie I am a bit of a fan of chocolate and if there is a box of Thorntons under my nose I am liable to eat them before anyone noticed - thankfully however these chocolates were mine! As a birthday present I wasn't going to ignore them and stuff them in the back of the fridge - so I began munching on them... ~*~ Packaging ~*~ The chocolates come in a box just a big bigger than a DVD box and about 3 times the thickness, in an off while colour.. There are pictures of the chocolates all over the box with a little plastic window so we can see the chocolates inside, there are descriptions of the chocolates - and nutritional information.. So ... We got a box of these for an anniversary present. I'd seen them around before and although I knew they were made by Thornton's and would probably be a bit expensive, I thought they looked a bit cheap. The box is 250g and is a light cream colour. It has the Thorntons logo in dark brown, and Moments is in shiney brown. Itnhas quite a large see through square on the front and you can see the sweets through this, and there is pictures of the unwrapped Chocolates up either side of the square. On the back there is the 6 Chocolates, with what colour wrapper they have and a description of them. The PR department have had a field day with the descriptions, as they are ... Thornton's Moments are a new selection of chocolates which can be found for £1.99 at most retailers including Tesco's. With pictures of the chocolates inside on the front of the box it is completely impossible to say no to these treats. On the back of the box it tells you what colour wrapper corresponds to what flavour chocolate which is very useful. Starting with my favourite chocolate in the box the yellow wrapper has inside a delicious creamy fudge. This is deliciously chewy and on most occasions the first one to disappear from the box. Next one out of the box is the purple wrapped soft caramel. After a bite of this heavenly chocolate ... Read the complete review
