... it is not going to score very well. Sadly chocolate is not yet included in one's Five a Day quota! Briefly, Thornton's Moments are suitable for vegetarians, they contain No artificial colours or added preservative. The product does contain nuts, milk, soya, eggs, gluten and wheat, so consumers sensitive to these ingredients should exercise caution. Each chocolate contains an average of 39 calories, which if you can limit yourself to one or two chocolates is not too bad. I have no will power...enough said! ...more

Crowned Review Thorntons Moments: Just a moment! or 6 (934 words)

I had a voucher given to me the other day for a free trial size pack of chocolates from Thorntons. I like most people, will never say no to a freebie, and as chocolate is involved, I couldn't wait to get some! I took my voucher in and was given a creamy coloured box, with pictures of chocolates scattered across the front, took it straight home and dived in, well not literally! I opened the box to find 6, yes only 6 chocolates. Each one was individually wrapped in a different coloured foil. Thankfully there was a brief description about each chocolate on the side of the box, so I could see what each colour represented. Soft ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review Thorntons - gone in less than a moment... (901 words)

I'm not going to lie I am a bit of a fan of chocolate and if there is a box of Thorntons under my nose I am liable to eat them before anyone noticed - thankfully however these chocolates were mine! As a birthday present I wasn't going to ignore them and stuff them in the back of the fridge - so I began munching on them... ~*~ Packaging ~*~ The chocolates come in a box just a big bigger than a DVD box and about 3 times the thickness, in an off while colour.. There are pictures of the chocolates all over the box with a little plastic window so we can see the chocolates inside, there are descriptions of the chocolates - and nutritional information.. So ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Thorntons Moments: Thornton's Moments a chocolate lover's dream! (968 words)

Review of Thornton's Moments chocolate selection My other half had his birthday last month and he was given a box of these chocolates by my daughter. She is a chocoholic and was hoping (I presume) that he would open them straightaway and let her dive in.....She was sorely disappointed as he didn't! Anyway on with the review! ==The Product== A boxed selection of six different Thornton's Chocolates. The box I am reviewing is the 250g size, however the chocolates are also available as 650g box in supermarkets or a 650g bowl on the manufacturer's website. ==Packaging and Contents== Moments come in a slightly out ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Yummy chocolates! (535 words)

Rating:

My mum gave me a box of these the other day to try as in our family, we are all huge chocolate fans! I have seen these before in Tesco and other larger supermarkets but have never bought them myself. Thorntons Moments are of course made by chocolate brand Thorntons. They come in a rectangular cardboard box with a plastic window to see the product inside. The box stands tall rather than lying down and is predominantly cream in colour with lots of pictures of the yummy chocolates on! The box tells me that they are 'a selection of favourite centres smothered in milk chocolate.' Opening the box I was greeted by lots of chocolates wrapped in metallic ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Thorntons Moments: A DISAPPOINTMENT FROM THORNTONS (364 words)

We got a box of these for an anniversary present. I'd seen them around before and although I knew they were made by Thornton's and would probably be a bit expensive, I thought they looked a bit cheap. The box is 250g and is a light cream colour. It has the Thorntons logo in dark brown, and Moments is in shiney brown. Itnhas quite a large see through square on the front and you can see the sweets through this, and there is pictures of the unwrapped Chocolates up either side of the square. On the back there is the 6 Chocolates, with what colour wrapper they have and a description of them. The PR department have had a field day with the descriptions, as they are ...  Read the complete review
