I am a huge fan of toffee and while I was passing Thorntons while in town a few days ago I popped in and bought a couple of my favourite items, one of which was a box of original Toffi-chocs. I have to be so careful not to purchase these too often as I have a tendency to eat the entire box over a period of a couple of hours. Anyway there are worst things I could be doing!!!!! Toffi-Chocs quite simply are round pieces of delicious toffee smothered completely in extremely thick Thorntons milk chocolate. Unlike some similar types of products available from other retailers the pieces that you get are large. The box actually states that they are bite-sized pieces. ... Read the complete review

O Thorntons Toffi Chocs - you are BAD to me! I loved the original toffee, i thought that the chocolate covered original toffee pieces were a massive improvement on that. And now, Thorntons have these little, bite sized pieces of toffee covered in milk chocolate which I can't buy any more because I would stuff them into my mouth by the handful. the great thing about the toffee in these sweets is that whilst it is chewy, it also has a lovely creamy texture and will, with only a little persistent gumming, melt in the mouth. The chocolate is made from selected West African Cocoa beans, which are primarily Forastero and Trinitario varies, and 100% cocoa butter. They are ... Read the complete review

I am writing this feeling rather queasy from having polished off half a bag of these that I was going to give to a friend and decided instead that they'd be better of being eaten by me.... They really are rather good, chocolate on the outside and lovely toffee on the inside which after a few good chews gets really soft and tastes all buttery. That's the positive side. On the negative side, each Malteser sized Toffi Choc works out at 33 cals, which means I've just consumed at least 500 cals in one sitting. This is easily done with these yummy sweets, so beware!! Additive wise, the ingredients don't look too bad - there is only one E number in there, although ... Read the complete review
