The consistency of the toffee is quite hard, and takes a fair amount of chewing, but its worth the effort. There are great big chunks of brazil nuts evenly spaced throughout the creamy toffee..a perfect combination. Just been to a 'Thornton's outlet' store and had a taster of this little piece of heaven! As a confirmed chocoholic, this departure into the confectionary field was pretty much unknown territory for me BUT Thornton's toffee must be the most delicious thing I have eaten today!! In fact my only complaint about the packet I have just bought is that the pieces are quite big! The consistency of the toffee is quite hard, and takes a fair amount of chewing, but its worth the effort.
