Advantages: Delicious chocolate
Disadvantages: Nougat sticks to your teeth
The iconic triangular shape of the toblerone (manufactured by Kraft) is easily recognisable and is one of the unique features of this delicious chocolate bar.
Triangles of swiss chocolate with honey, nougat and almonds embedded throughout the chocolate (a higher concentration of these ingredients is found at the base). The triangles are joined together and each piece needs to be broken off by hand.
In times gone by toblerone were sold in absolutely massive bars (upto 4 feet in height) im not sure if these ridiculously sized bars are still sold today but i do know they are available in more modest sizes, 35g, 100g, 200g and 400g.
As well as the original milk chocolate there are now four other flavours, white & dark chocolate, fruit & nut and honeycomb crisp.
The bars come packaged in foil with a golden/yellowy cardboard sleeve over the top (although in the smaller sizes its just plastic wrapping).
The chocolate itself is rich and delicious. Perhaps the only small gripe is that the nougat does get stuck to your teeth but if you ask me its well worth it.
I absolutely love toblerone and reccomend them to all chocolate lovers.
