Advantages: Delicious.

Disadvantages: Expensive

I love the toffee crisp bar and was most excited when I saw this variation of it for sale in a bag when I went to the cinema. Despite the extortionate price I just had to try it. The toffee crisp clusters come in a bag, rather than a bar like the original toffee crisps. The bag is tall and orange, similar to the original packaging. It is bright and funky rather than sleek and classy. On the front of the bag is a picture of a cluster.

The bags are plastic and you can rip them open easily to reveal the clusters inside. I am not sure if the bag is recyclable or not. The downside of the bag that I got from the cinema was that it was not resealable. If you do not want to eat them all in one go you risk losing them all over the floor of the car on the way home! Each bag contains about 20 clusters. The clusters inside are un even in appearance and lack no regular shape. They are gatherings of chocolate coated rice crispies with toffee and caramel running through the middle. If you have tasted a toffee crisp bar then these have the same underlying taste, as they have the same mixture of toffee and caramel, just with a different shape.

The clusters have a nice texture. When you first bite in they are a bit crispy, but when you get further inside they become chewy due to the caramel inside. They also have a lovely taste. I love toffee crisp bars and I love these even more as they have all the best bits of toffee crisp and more. Bite sized treats are always better to eat as they have that snacky pick at them feel where you cant stop eating them. The downside to these treats are that they work out worse value for money than the toffee crisp bar, even if you are more sensible than me and dont buy them from the cinema!

Summary: Dont buy at the cinema.
