There is the bottom layer which is crunchy, the layer above that which is fabulously chewy and then the top layer which is a different kind of crunchy (lighter than the base) and has the peanuts (or chocolate chips, those ones are also great!) in it. There are plenty of peanuts (or chocolate chips) too, which is great. Each 26g bar contains: Energy - 125 calories Sugars - 7.9g Fat - 6.1g S...more

Premium Review Tracker Bars: Well worth tracking these down! (321 words)

Tracker Bars Anyone who has read my earlier review will know that I bought a Tracker bar this morning as a breakfast substitute (after throwing away the first cereal bar that I had bought, due to it being horrible!). This cost me £0.55 but is cheaper in shops (our vending machine has outrageous prices and should only ever be used in an emergency) and I usually buy them in multi packs of 8 for around £1.60. They can be bought from most supermarkets. I had the peanut variety which has red writing on the wrapper on a cream coloured background. Premium Review You'd Be Nuts Not To Try These!! (552 words)

I was in my mums the other day and felt a sudden need of something to eat, a strong peckish feeling that's for sure so I took a quick look in her cupboard and grabbed the first thing that caught my eye. A tracker bar! There sitting in a deep yellow and dark brown box were Tracker Chocolate Chip bars. A box decorated with yellow and brown swirls with a picture of a 'tracker bar' on the front. Looked scrummy. I am told on the box that it contains 8 bars and they are made with wholegrain and still have the same great taste. Well I'd never tasted them again but they sounded promising on their brief description, 'The only bar with the three layered Crunch, Goo and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tracker Bars: Cracker Jacker (469 words)

Tracker Bars I have somehow ended up with a box full of Tracker chocolate chip bars which I have not had for years. They are advertised as a three layered crunch bar with goo, crunch and chew with chocolate chips for those mad chocoholics out there like me. *The packaging* The design appears to have changed since I last bought trackers which I think was donkeys ago. It has tracker quite largely written across the top and in white. The packaging is yellow and brown and has chocolate chip written on in small writing under tracker with some little images of nuts and chocolate chips. The back is white and plain and no information as this ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tracker Addiction (337 words)

I have a confession to make. I'm addicted to Tracker bars! I hadn't bought any in a while, then saw them on offer for 2 boxes for £2.50 in Morrisons, and I just had to buy them. Big mistake, they're so addictive I ate a whole box the day I bought them. Oooops! Tracker bars are available in Roasted Nut, Chocolate Chip, and I believe there's a raisin one, but I've never seen these anywhere. The ones I buy are the Roasted Nut ones, but I have tried the chocolate chip ones before. They come in boxes of 8, which is way better than most similar bars which tend to charge similar prices for only 4 or 6. The bars are made of crisped rice, chewy oats, and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tracker Bars: Tracked this bar down for the nuts (478 words)

Knowing that I am not a great fan of cereal bars my son gave me one to try it turned out to be a tracker bar. This roasted nut and cereal bar with chocolate chips running through it is quite delicious. The taste test:- I first tasted the nuts which are the main part as far as I can tell and were very crunchy and then the oaty taste of the cereals running through the bar with crispies and chocolate following up the rear these were bound together by a sticky honey or syrupy substance that worked well as a joint effort. I really liked the taste. Finding the general mixture crispy and soft and squishy all at the same time was novel, I suppose it ...  Read the complete review
