Trattoria Verdi Tomato Puree Tube is our new tomato puree of choice. We previously bought Tesco own version, but that shot up in price from 24p per tube all the way to 39p per tube. I know it's only pennies, but that's a pretty substantial increase. We use a lot of these in a week so the extra cost would have added up over the course of a year. The Trattoria Verdi Tomato Puree Tube only costs 29p per tube, so obviously we didn't hesitate to give it a try when we first spotted it on the shelves in Tesco.
