Trattoria Verdi Tomato Puree Tube Description: Manufacturer: Trattoria Verdi Just read a great review of this product and it reminded me how much I like it. I find that I get through quite a lot of tomato puree so have to regularly restock. I bought a 200g tube of this from Tesco which cost me £0.34. This product comes in a moss green tube with the brand name on the front and a picture of a juicy tomato. I know it's only pennies, but that's a pretty substantial increase. We use a lot of these in a week so the extra cost would have added up over the course of a year. The Trattoria Verdi Tomato Puree Tube only costs 29p per tube, so obviously we didn't hesitate to give it a try when we first spotted it on the shelves in Tesco. It's not terribly attractive in it's dirty, olive green tube, but sometimes things are worth a try just purely based on price I think. Each ... Read the complete review
